1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the SnapMentor application ("App") or accessing our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
SnapMentor is an AI-powered photography assistant that provides photo scoring, selection, enhancement, and watermarking services. The App uses artificial intelligence to analyze photos and provide ratings, suggestions, and enhancements.
3. Account Registration
To use SnapMentor, you must:
- Register with a valid email address.
- Verify your email through a one-time verification code.
- Be at least 13 years of age.
- Provide accurate and complete information.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
SnapMentor offers both free and premium subscription plans. Premium subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Free Plan: Limited to 3 photo scores and 1 enhancement per day.
- Pro Monthly: Unlimited scores and enhancements, billed monthly.
- Pro Yearly: Unlimited scores and enhancements, billed annually at a discounted rate.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's refund policies.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of all photos you upload to SnapMentor. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:
- Process and analyze your photos using AI for scoring and enhancement.
- Store your photos securely for your continued access.
- Generate enhanced versions and watermarked copies as requested.
We do not use your photos for advertising, marketing, or AI model training purposes.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the service.
- Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the API.
- Share your account credentials with others.
- Circumvent usage limits or rate restrictions.
7. AI-Generated Results
SnapMentor uses artificial intelligence to provide photo scores and suggestions. AI results are provided "as-is" and may not always be perfectly accurate. Scores and suggestions are intended as guidance and should not be considered professional photography advice.
8. Intellectual Property
The SnapMentor app, branding, design, and technology are the intellectual property of SnapMentor. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
SnapMentor is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or inaccurate AI results. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may request export of your data before termination.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or binding arbitration.
